Esteemed priest, Father Carroway's confessions are brought to a grinding halt with the deluded ramblings of a troubled youth. One thing leads to another, as the body of another parishoner is found hours later, leading Father Carroway down a spiral of demonic insanity as the truth of Black Rock Chapel is revealed, and ground that was once hallowed, quickly becomes desecrated.
